We invite any family member of a student at MES to have a free lunch with us on November 11 and to join us as we honor our veterans during a school assembly at 1:00pm.

Halloween Havoc at E&H College

Emory and Henry College invite students to join them for their Halloween Havoc event on the Emory & Henry University campus — a free community celebration on Friday, October 31st, starting at 6:00 PM.

This year’s event will feature a Trunk or Treat as the main attraction, along with other family-friendly activities including a hay ride, face painting, photo opportunities, and more! The evening will wrap up with our Women’s Volleyball game at 7:00 PM, complete with a costume contest for fans in attendance.

MES Bookfair - October 13-16, 2025

MES will host the Scholastic Book Fair in the library the week of October 13-16, 2025. Parent Teacher Conference night is Thursday, October 16, so you can plan to stop by the book fair while you are at school to meet with your child's teacher. You can also shop online from October 13 - October 26. Click this news heading to visit the online book fair.
