SCS Traffic Safety Program Smyth County Schools will begin an automated school zone speed enforcement program to increase safety for students, parents, teachers and anyone else traveling through the school zones. Please see the attached release for additional information.

MSHS to host Volleyball Clinic The MSHS volleyball team will be hosting skills clinics beginning May 9th at MSHS. The clinics are open to players of all skill levels. End of Year Assessments End-of-year assessments for all grade levels will begin after spring break. Please be sure your student gets a good night's sleep, has a healthy breakfast, and arrives at school on time each day. This will help minimize any anxiety that students may feel about taking the test and prepare them to do their best!
Spring Holiday Smyth County Schools will dismiss 2 hours early on Wednesday, April 5 for Spring Holiday. Schools will be closed Thursday, April 6, Friday, April 7, and Monday, April 10. Students return to school on Tuesday, April 11.
